Welcome to the John Stark & Crickmay Partnership WordPress website.
We are a RIBA & CIAT Chartered Architects Practice located in Dorchester, Dorset.
The Practice has developed a reputation for innovative design and attention to detail.
It also has much experience with conservation, repair and alteration of historic buildings and one of the directors is accredited in building conservation.
We handle projects of any size from the humblest alterations to the most ambitious design solutions.
The Practice enjoys a wide client base with projects encompassing Commercial, Community, Historic and Residential housing, see our work
Due to the continuous progressive development of the practice within the local area and indeed beyond, both the historical and existing project base is extremely varied, see our services.
This variation in projects carried out has lead to the Practice(s) receiving several awards for both design and conservation works, see Awards.
John Stark & Crickmay Partnership (JSCP) was founded in 1999 following the amalgamation of two of the longest practicing Architectural Practices in the area, John Stark & Partners whose origins can be traced back to 1867 with Mr Samuel Jackson and the Crickmay Partnership who were established in 1850.
Whilst John Stark & Partners operated from offices within Dorchester, the Crickmay Partnership at its height had established offices in Dorchester, Weymouth and Yeovil.
JSCP presently comprises of four Directors, Michael Howarth Dip Arch RIBA AABC, Roger Hussey MCIAT, Christopher Read MCIAT and Daniel Cantrell RIBA. We are a well established team of Architects, Architectural Technologists, Architectural Technicians, administrative staff and Consultants, which when combined make a multidisciplinary Practice able to offer a highly professional and friendly service to guide our clients through their construction projects.
